The Athenaeum Club’s accommodation provides guests with all the comforts you would expect from a modern five-star hotel. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s stylish business and shopping precinct the Club is minutes away from world-class restaurants, theatres and sporting facilities.
Entering from Collins Street, guests with mobility issues now have access to a wheelchair lift after works completed in October 2023.

Room Guaranteed for Early Arrival
While we will do all possible to accommodate early morning arrivals, to guarantee a room prior to the Club check-in time, it must be reserved from the evening prior.
Check-in Time
Our check-in time is after 2:00pm and rooms need to be vacated by 11:00am on departure day to avoid additional charges.

Rollaway Beds & Portacots
Rollaway beds are only available for use in our Suite accommodation for an additional fee of $55.00 per stay; portacots may be used in any room (subject to availability). Please advise prior to arrival if required.
Day Use Rooms
When a room is required past the Club check-out time a day use charge equivalent to 50% of the single daily room rate for the room occupied will apply. When a room is required for day use and is not needed until after the Club check-in time it will be made available from 12:00noon until 6:00pm at half the single daily room rate for the room category occupied (subject to availability).

For the individual traveller, our two single-bed rooms provide all the amenities necessary for a stay but are smaller in size than our other rooms.
After being greeted with a smile from our professional Concierge team member 24-hours/7 days a week, we hope that you will feel at home straight away, so you can truly enjoy all that the Club and Melbourne has to offer.
Our single rooms provide a comfortable base for the individual traveller and are very popular, so book early.

Double/Twin Rooms
Ideal for an executive business traveller, romantic weekend or simply those that require a little extra space.
Our double/twin rooms provide the flexibility of either a queen-size bed or twin-bedded configuration. Also available: two DDA-compliant double rooms. Please specify when booking if special needs or requirements needed.

Club Suites
Designed with pampering in mind, these suites provide greater living space in the form of a separate lounge area, a dressing table and writing desk.
Our Club suites also include a DVD player and space to accommodate a rollaway bed (charges apply).
